Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: 7 October 2026 (draft).
We want everyone to be able to use this website, and aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We have not yet had a formal audit.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a skip link, headings in order and labelled navigation.
- Clear keyboard focus styles, and everything works with a keyboard alone.
- Text and button colours checked against the AA contrast ratio (4.5:1 for normal text).
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged, with no horizontal scrolling at phone width.
- Videos load only when you press a labelled play button. Animations are removed if your device asks for reduced motion.
Known issues
- Imported articles. Older newsletter articles were moved over from LinkedIn. Some images have no description, and some formatting is imperfect. Embedded LinkedIn videos and posts appear as links to the original.
- Videos. Captions and transcripts depend on what is available on YouTube.
- Diagrams. Diagram descriptions are short summaries, not full text equivalents.
- Third-party content. We cannot control the accessibility of LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
Feedback
If you find a barrier, or need something in a different format, please tell us via the contact page and we will try to fix it. A dedicated email address and response time are TBC.
