The short version
This website does not use cookies, advertising or analytics, and does not ask you to create an account or hand over personal details.
What the site loads
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the service secure. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Whether Cloudflare Web Analytics is switched on is TBC.
- YouTube. Video embeds load only after you press play, and use the privacy-enhanced
youtube-nocookie.comdomain. Episode thumbnails are copied onto this site, so YouTube (Google) only sees your IP address if you choose to play a video. - LinkedIn. Some older article images are still loaded from LinkedIn’s servers. These are due to be copied onto this site (TBC).
- Links out. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other sites are governed by those sites’ own policies.
- Fonts and scripts. The site uses your device’s own fonts and a very small script of its own. It does not use third-party scripts.
Newsletter and social media
Subscribing to the newsletter, following or commenting happens on LinkedIn, under LinkedIn’s privacy policy. We do not hold a mailing list of our own at the moment (TBC).
